I went with a little vellum on this card.  Love how it turned out.  The embossing is slightly blotchy and uneven...and I totally love the worn out feeling it gives.... For this card I used the only Paper Smooches stamp set that I have so far...."Falling for You".  I pulled out my Cosmo Cricket - Boyfriend 6x6 pad.  I have only used like 4 sheets because I love this collection so much...LOL! EDIT:  Question from Christ from Iowa asked me if I could share how I colored the flowers.  I used BV00, BV02, BV04 and Y28.  I added a bit of yellow to the center of each flower after I did a base coat with my lightest purple.  From there I used the feathering technique and then covered the flowers with Sukra glitter pen and added some crystals.  I hope this helps Chris...Blessings to you!

I got some new PTI goodies.  I have wanted the Up, up and Away stamp set and dies for a long time. Today's Sugar Creek Hollow challenge is "Fabric".  We are suppose to use fabric in our card.  I had some Dear Lizzy fabric paper.  I added some vintage photo distress inks to the edge.  I love the aqua color and decided to add a splash of red with the ribbon, flowers and buttons.  Super simple yet a sweet vintage card for a dear friend of mine. Edit to post for a question: @Heidi - I colored the snowman with copic makers B0000 then I added some Rock Candy Distress stickles, and some MS glitter to the snowman.  Once it dried I distressed the circle and image with vintage photo and then some of the glitter rubbed off so I added another layer of Rock Candy Distress stickles....I think that was it. Here is my photo for Day 3.  I used a macro setting and was trying to get a "free" lens effect.  My friend from school was showing me a few photos and telling about "free" lens...it was totally cool. But my Nikon D5000 doesn't allow that.  UGH!   But I was able to use a macro setting and play with the metering....I am pretty excited about how it turned out.  It's like the blur (Bokeh) effect.
